The data provided by insurance marketing campaigns is no secret – promoting your agency online can result in a higher amount of clients. Examples Of Successful Insurance Marketing Campaigns

When it comes to marketing your insurance agency online, there are several metrics that you can track. For example, Google informs you of the demographics of your viewers, how long they spend on your site, and the search terms they used to find your website. Our first client is an insurance company based in Fairfax, VA. The client has been working with our insurance marketing experts for nearly three years. Within that span of time, the client’s number of users has skyrocketed from 1,002 (Figure 1.1) to 340,834 (Figure 1.2) as of April 2019. The number of organic keywords used on the side has also grown from 236 to 11,142. Increases in keywords are important since they improve the likelihood that web users will find the client’s website through search engines, giving their site higher odds of being included in search results for different search terms.

In addition to an increase in organic traffic, the client’s amount of referrals have increased. These referrals are critical in insurance marketing campaigns since they build a network of trust among the client’s website and other sites that a potential client already finds credible. This provides a strong recommendation for a potential customer, thus increasing the likelihood of the potential customer to convert into a regular client. Referring domains for this client began at 86 in July 2016 and have since increased to 247. Referring pages, meanwhile, have seen an equal amount of growth, from 350 to 1,053 in the span of nearly three years.

Our next insurance client has been with us for just a little over a year. However, it has experienced significant growth within this time period. The agency’s number of website users has improved dramatically, from 27 in March 2018 (Figure 1.3) to 8,966 as of April 2019 (Figure 1.4). Its organic keywords tracked on the site have also risen from 89 to 599. These increases are due to extensive keyword research based on frequently searched terms by web users. Implementing keywords that are popular but are also specific to a client’s services into their website can help them gain web users that are more interested in the agency’s insurance policies than others.

Similar to the first agency, referrals have steadily increased for this client over time. It began with 10 referring domains, which has risen to 88 in a little over a year. In addition, the referring pages are up from 12 pages at the start of contract to 1,794 today. These referrals from other websites will continue growing as we generate more content increase social media presence, and promote brand loyalty for the client. These methods can all help other sites feel comfortable referencing and recommending the agency’s brand as it will appear to be a professional, reliable, and trusted source of information regarding the insurance industry.
